Bountiful Blessings #658  (Digi version - DIGI658)
Sweet Holiday #655  (Digi version - DIGI659)

Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day. For my card I chose to use the new Farm Sweet Farm stamp set 652. I had so much fun making this easel card. I used a recent background stamp, Wonky Lines 659 and used Glisten embossing powder EP135 to add interest to the sky and ground.

I added the wagon stamp from the Country set 47 in front of the barn and cut out more of the milk cans to put in the wagon. Flower Soft was added to the bottom for grass.

I added a border to the top of the inside of the card and used the new Copper Flame EP453 embossing powder. I just love the look of this embossing powder. Teddy Brown EP187 embossing powder was used on the saying. for full instructions on how to make this card, please click here.

My Favorite Color is October

Hi Everyone! I am back again with another Fall card. I love this saying and I DO love the colors of Autumn. I am hoping the leaves will be real pretty here this year. I made this card using a pre-made card base. I loved using the newWisps of Autumn stamps 647  from Sparkle N Sprinkle on it.

I used a die to cut decorative corners, patted them with a Versa Mark ink pad and added Sienna embossing powder EP425 to them.

I also used Sienna EP425 on the scallops on the card front and on the Memory Box Fresh Foliage die behind the saying. The image was stamped using Antiquities embossing powder EP266 and Brown Fizz EP381, Pear Star EP432 andSienna EP425 embossing powders were used on the image.  I used Spellbinders Labels 4 dies to cut out the saying and edged the label with Antiquities embossing powder.

On the inside I used the saying from the Fancy Butterflies set 437 and cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2 die and layered it over the Spellbinders sm. Ovals die that I cut out of green card stock. For full instructions on how to make this card please click here.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Sunshiny Day

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. It is very sunshiny here today. My title reminds me of the song "it's a bright, bright sunshiny day!" Now I will be singing it the rest of the day. LOL! I want to share a card I made for a few challenges and at All Sorts the challenge is to use sunshiny colors. I just love these bright colors together. I loved using the Penny Black hedgehog from the Wonderful Day stamp set.

The flowers, butterfly and frame are all Cheery Lynn dies. I love to embellish so these dies really add a lot to a card.

Stickles Black Diamond glitter glue was used on the hedgehog and flower center.

Thank you so much for dropping by today. I hope your day is super!

Clean and Simple

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. First of all I would like to welcome some recent people who just started following my blog. Thanks for signing up and I hope you receive some good inspiration from my projects! I am sharing a card I made today for the Clean and Simple challenge at Impression Obsession. If you know me you know that I love to layer and embellish, so this is a little hard for me! LOL! For the background I used the Cover A Card Gingham CC006 background stamp. Since Fall is around the corner I used the Pumpkin Flourish E2092 for the focal image of my card.

I enjoyed making this for the challenge. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you have a great day!

Die- Versions/Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop

DV/SNS Blog Hop - Designer's Post

Welcome to the Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop!

The joint blog hop with Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle begins today (7am EST) and goes until Aug 17th (5pm EST), so there will be plenty of time to check out all the great projects created by both teams.  The theme is Christmas, so you'll get lots of great inspiration for your upcoming Holiday cards.

Die-Versions manufactures low profile dies made right here in the United States and Sparkle N Sprinkle manufactures rubber stamps, glitters, embossing powders, and flocking, also made in the US.  This is like a match made in heaven - low profile dies combined with lots of bling!  Doesn't get much better than that.

One winner will receive a Grand Prize consisting of a $50 gift certificate from Die-Versions and a $50 gift certificate from Sparkle N Sprinkle, for a total of $100.  The winner will be announced on Aug 17th on both the DV Blog and the SNS Blog as well as their Facebook pages.

In order to be eligible for the Grand Prize, please:
  • Leave a comment on each Designer's blog
  • Follow both companies on Facebook (DV Facebook pageSNS Facebook page) if you haven't already so you can keep up to date on all the latest goings on.   (I'm sure that all of the Designers would love for you to Follow them too, but that isn't a requirement to win this prize.)

You should have arrived here from Archana's blog.  If not, then you should begin at the Die-Versions Blog and end at the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog.  If you get lost along the way, you can go to either the DV Blog or the SNS Blog to see the complete list of participants.

We'd love it if you'd like to leave a comment at either the DV Blog or the SNS Blog telling us which projects were your favorites.  :-)

Hi Everyone! I am glad you stopped by our blog hop today. I had so much fun making my card with the Die-Versions Winter Cottage and Tis The Season dies. They went perfectly with the Sparkle N Sprinkle  A Winter Wonderland 517 stamp! I stamped the scene, colored it with copics and then cut around the evergreen tree and deer with a craft knife. I then placed the Winter Cottage die behind the tree and deer and it fit perfectly.

I added the Tis The Season die at the bottom of the card. On the evergreen tree and cottage I added white Liquid Applique and sprinkled in some Sparkling Snow glitter G1003 before I heat set it. I added some Sticker Paper 9558 behind the windows and added Lemonade glitter G1091.

Sparkling Snow glitter was also added to the forest trees.

For complete instructions on how to make this card, please click here.

Your next stop on the blog hop is Mayra.

We hope you enjoy this blog hop and it gives you lots of inspiration!  Don't forget to leave each of us a comment and follow both Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle on Facebook.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  April

Sunshine on a Stem

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. I want to share a card I made with the new release stamp set for this month from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Sunflower 643. I just love this pretty stamp set. I stamped the sunflower using Black embossing powder 170. I bleached out the image using bleach in a water pen. I love to see what colors lie underneath the paper and this turned out perfect for a sunflower! I used copics to color in the leaves but the flower petals were left as they were after I bleached them. I added Midnight Gold glitter G1080 to the center of the flower.

I cut out the butterflies from green card stock using the Kensington Border Memory Box die. I then added Sparkle embossing powder EP107 on them.

I used the Spellbinders Fancy Tags die for my sentiment. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with Black embossing powder.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!

Summer Tag

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. It is warming up here again so it is really feeling like summer. I want to share a summer tag I made. All of these elements on my tag remind me of summer  -- flowers, birds, butterflies, dragonflies, etc. I had fun incorporating all of these into my tag. I received my inspiration from Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2014 August tag challenge. I used Distress stains, the honeycomb and splatters stencils and the birds image from the Life's Possibilities stamp set. You can see Tim's demo here.

Around the two edges I used Surf glitter courtesy of Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Here is a closer view. I used a fun product called Inka Gold on the label and dragonfly. I rubbed the copper color onto each piece, let dry and then buffed with a paper towel. The letters are raised on the metal label, so I sanded them so that they would show up better.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope your day is filled with good things!
